2. Your rights

You have the right at any time to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR) – the authority responsible for us is the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the contact details above is sufficient.

3. Hosting & server log files

This website is hosted by an external service provider: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the site is accessed, the server automatically collects general access data and stores it in what are known as server log files:

• shortened/anonymised IP address
• date and time of access
• page/file requested, volume of data transferred
• browser and operating system used, referrer URL

The purpose is the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the host. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the stated purpose.

4. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies that are required for operation (e.g. to store your cookie choice). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR and § 25 (2) TDDDG. You can view, restrict or delete cookies in your browser at any time.

5. Getting in touch (contact form, email, phone)

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, experience of interest, travel date, group size and your message) in order to handle and respond to your enquiry. The contact form is provided using the „Contact Form 7" plugin; the data is sent to us by email. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation/performance of a contract) and (f) (legitimate interest in handling the enquiry). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.

6. Fonts

The fonts used on this website are loaded locally from our own server. No connection is made to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts); your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the „https://" in your browser's address bar.

8. Validity and changes to this privacy policy

This privacy policy is currently valid (last updated: June 2026). As our website develops, or due to changed legal or regulatory requirements, it may become necessary to amend it.
