Why the far north.
What brought me to Sweden is everything this region stands for: the quiet, the untouched nature and the openness of real wilderness. I wanted to build a calmer life here with my family, in the middle of this landscape. That closeness to nature is where my photography comes from.
I follow this region closely: the long polar nights, the quality of midwinter light, the way the aurora behaves, often at short notice. I read the forecasts and know when and where a shoot is worth it.
I bring you to the right location, judge the conditions, and handle the technical side. You enjoy the evening; I take care of the photography.

I read the weather, the light and the aurora, and I know where to go. Knowing these skies, not a fixed itinerary handed to a crowd.

Only a handful of guests each season. No crowds and no pressure. One photographer working for you alone.

I live in this region with my family, not a provider who flies in for the season. I know how the light behaves through the year, and where to be for it.
Photo and 4K film
Still images and, on request, a 4K film of your day, with drone footage where conditions allow.
Free weather rescheduling
If conditions are wrong for the aurora or the night sky, we move your booking to a better date at no extra cost.

Based in Norrbotten.
My base is Luleå, in the far north of Sweden — the Luleå–Boden region. Some of the darkest, clearest winter skies in Europe, and long daylight through the summer. Wherever your day takes place, I know where to photograph it.
